Hi, I’m Alexandra Starrett (she/her)—a queer, disabled Realtor serving Portland Metro and the Oregon Coast—and I’m so ready for Portland Pride 2025!
This year, I’m proud to host a booth alongside my amazing business partners: Team Keller Mortgage, Gemini Accounting, and Bryn Peterson Financial. We’re not just there to take photos and hand out flyers (though we’ll definitely have both)—we’re showing up as a team of queer & trans and queer & trans-friendly professionals who genuinely care about our community. We’re here to educate, empower, and connect—and also to just have a good time with our people.
🌈 Showing Up, Fully
Being at Pride is deeply personal for me. As someone on the aromantic and asexual spectrum (aro/ace-spec), with multiple disabilities including auditory processing disorder, migraines, and mental health conditions, I’ve spent a lot of time navigating spaces that weren’t built with people like me in mind.
The LGBTQ+ community isn’t just a checkbox on my website—it’s my community. Pride gives me a chance to show up not only as a Realtor, but as a neurospicy, hard-of-hearing, anxious human who believes that housing should be accessible, affirming, and empowering for everyone.
🧠 Mental Health & Advocacy Matter
I talk openly about mental health because I believe in making space for the real, messy, beautiful parts of being human. The overlap between queerness and disability is significant, and it’s something we don’t talk about enough. That’s why I’m proud to represent both—because visibility matters.
Whether you're someone who's never felt safe asking questions about homeownership, someone who’s been talked down to by a lender, or someone navigating the world with anxiety, ADHD, or a body that doesn't always cooperate—you’re welcome here.
🏡 Our Booth Is More Than Just Real Estate
At our booth, you’ll find real resources—not pressure. I carefully chose business partners not just for their professional expertise (which they have in spades), but because they truly understand our community. 46% of queer folks are afraid of discrimination in homebuying process. We're working hard every day to make that 0%!
Team Keller Mortgage offers transparent, low-pressure lending with a heart.
Gemini Accounting helps queer folks, sex-workers, freelancers, and small business owners make peace with taxes.
Bryn Peterson Financial makes financial planning feel possible and personal—not pushy.
We’re here to answer questions, offer support, and help you feel more in control of your financial and housing future—whether that’s buying your first home, planning for retirement, or just figuring out where to start.
🤝 Pride Is Connection
Pride is about celebrating—but also about finding your people. I love seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones, and creating space for conversations that are real. If you’re curious about the housing market, wondering if now is the time to buy, or just want to chat about how wild your apartment hunt has been—come say hi.
We’re not salesy. We’re not corporate. We’re community.
✨ Come As You Are
Whether you're decked out in glitter, quietly wandering in your noise-canceling headphones, or somewhere in between—our booth is for you.
No questions are too small. No dreams are too weird. If you're queer, questioning, disabled, overwhelmed, or just want to feel like someone gets it—I’m here for you. We all are.
